Another update of the Updater

I have just uploaded a new version of the MobMapUpdater tool. This one corrects two bugs, one error in the upload mechanism that could cause erroneous uploads in some very special circumstances and the other one in the localization part (you have probably noticed it if you're an english user: the window that's displayed when there's a newer version of the updater available was in german language in many cases. I always thought I'd sorted out this bug long ago, but it turned out that it was still present. This update should finally fix the problem. However, you might see one more of those german update notifications when the old version of the Updater wants to update to this newest version - just click the button on the left side of the window, it's the one that reads "update" ;-)

Besides those bugfixes, this new version also brings some sort of new "functionality" - not really useful, but a gimmick for those obsessed with statistics. There's a new button in the MobMapUpdater window that shows a few numbers about the data already uploaded with this updater installation like mob/position/quest/merchant/recipe count. The data includes all uploads since I started to log those numbers on the server.

Talking about statistics: I'm currently thinking about a small addition to the MobMap website showing some statistics, numbers and graphs about the data uploads (you might have guessed it by now: I'm also one of those statistics freaks). This might be just the right thing to do while the loot data I need for the next big update of MobMap flows in...

Thank for this wonderful mod. It's a god sent. I have no error nor bug at this time but will support what I can. Thank you. Cheer!

Agreed. This mod is excellent. Thank you very much!!!

I have one request. Would it be possible to integrate this addon with ItemSync? If you aren't familiar with ItemSync, it is a local database of in-game items and their statistics. (Atlas Loot is one example of an add-on that uses ItemSync.) It would be great if we could get location info for in-game items as they relate to the quests we are currently working on. (Black Dragonflight Molt is an example of a quest item that I could not locate through MobMap.)

Otherwise, I am loving the addon and hope my uploads help everyone else. Thanks again!

Not sure how to contact you but my request is to be able for Mobmap to track and show/hide quests that you have completed on a per character basis. So you can track what quests you still have to do in each zone.

Great addon... keep up the good work.

This mod is great. It saves a ton of time for me. No more alt+tab'ing out of the game to bring up thottbot (which can take a bit on my system). My question falls into the category of DaPhatty's question about quest item searching. I still have to hop out of game to search for quest items. This would be a great help to me. Plus I have toons of varying lvls and races which add to the database (which I am more than happy to do). Any plans on adding quest items to the database?

Great mod! Thank you SO SO SO SO SO SO much. This is the best mod ever created, I am certain. The only thing lacking is the thing I am almost certain you are working on. Now when I update it uploads my loots, so I'm guessing you're working on the addition of looted items. That would be so awesome, and I hope to all the gods there are you are able to do that. Can you post a blog and let us know? You rock!
