Hey, I'd like to know how I can install this addon. I had it working before but I'd like to update it since I was updating some other addons. When I tried to (since I'm on a mac) it is pretty hard to install considering I do not have an automatic installer for it since you use an .Exe program. I manually tried to install it but because of their is two folders calling themselves MobMap it doesn't want to be placed in there together. I placed in addon itself and it would not work. I put in the database and when I start up it seemed like it works but tells me I need to update the addon database.
Could you please put in instructions on how to install or update this addon? I'm not really sure how I installed it the first time and I been at it for an hour trying to figure out what I did to get it to work. -

Finally figured it out what I had done. I placed in the files from the Mobmap folder that arrived with the database information and placed it into the folder of the addon. The Database folders separate like their own different addons made it work just perfectly.

When you have a list of mobs that drop a quest item, it shows the drop rate for each mob in the list. I am curious as to how accurate this is. The reason I ask is that quest objective items only drop until you have collected the required amount. If MobMap keeps calculating the rate for mobs after you have gathered enough, this would skew the droprate. I bring this up because I have other addons that show droprate and they are more disproportionate then I would expect given the number of people submitting data to each project.
Second, I would like to see some additional functionality. there ate times when I have an item in my inventory that I need more of. Currently I have to look the item up online to see what drops it, then search mobmab for the mob. It would be nice if I could have a ctrl/shift/alt click combo that would just bring up the MM window and give me the list of dropping mobs to select from.
Thanks and keep up the great work! -

Hi,
I just wanted to let you know that there is a bug with the merchant search. If you search for a merchant in Shattrath you always get a blank result list. For example when you search for a vendor for rune thread in Shattrath you get no result (for other zones i tried the results were correct) although there are some vendors selling it. If you search manually in the list of all vendors selling rune thread, the right ones are listed there (e.g. Eiin, Shattrath City). I hope this can be fixed.
Thanks for this great mod, it saved me hours of searching.
Bye

Hi there!
First to greet you guys for the nice addon! Quite cool, I've waited years for something to replace the constant alt-tabbing to allakhazam or cartographer.
I want to report installation bug on WIN98SE - here is the steps to reproduce it:
1 - download installer from http://mobmap.de/dodownload.php?dl=files/MobMapInstaller.exe
2 - install it. It installs fine
3. launch the updater and it says that could not find any accounts in WOW folder, hence it cannot upload collected data.
I suppose it is some wrong path or registry entry which differs from WINXP, on which the updater works fine.
Cheers and keep up the good work! -

I would suggest some instructions, on how to upload to the site, and how to download the newest database and install. I can't seem to find them anywhere, and even though I love MOBMAP, I find it frustrating that I can't help or update my version without downloading the entire thing again. (I am going directly to the site: http://www.mobmap.de/doupload.php)
Thanks for the great work! I use it everyday in play! -

Hello everyone! Gratz for this amazing mob! It's a lifesaver!!!
Well my problem is: after I changed my routers, when I use the "Upload Database" it freezes up the program and I have to manualu end the process myself!
Does it use any ports for the "Upload Database"? The "Update Database" is working fine!
Stay cool everyone! -

I think we have to put the database into a file .zip (all of quest database) so that we can download it manual by our download manager :) and this file must be always updated
