strange problems since patch 2.2

Okay, there seems to be at least one problem with patch 2.2 that I missed: the world map display is not working properly. It seems to work when the map is opened by MobMap, but it doesn't work when the map is opened in any other way.

I'll get to it as soon as possible, expect a new, 100% working MobMap version soon...

[update] I have done some testing now, and the problem described above doesn't seem to be caused by MobMap. I noticed it while being in SSC and having Cartographer activated, but it seems to occur only in instances and not in the outside world, and even in the instance I found out that the map initially displayed by Cartographer was generally fucked up (displaying the mouseover effects of the world map on a map of Teldrassil, for example). When the map was switched manually all the display errors were corrected, including the MobMap dots.

After a quick scan of the Cartographer forum I don't seem to be alone with having map problems in instances, so I'll just wait for the moment and see what happens when the Cartographer bugs are sorted out.

If you encounter any other errors or problems with MobMap related to patch 2.2, please leave me a comment here, so I can take a look at it.

I have not been able to upload my data since v1.53. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times and nothing works. Is there a problem on my side? If so, how do I delete the data that I have collected to start fresh?

    Thanks in advance.

Try deleting the file named mobmap.lua in your WTF/Account/[accountname]/SavedVariables directory. That one contains the collected data. In some rare cases there has been a severe corruption of this very file which prevented the uploading from working correctly. Deleting the file usually helps.

I'm having similar problems.Using Mobmap 1.55 and the newest version of cartographer...

Instance Maps do not work...and the thing, that is really annoying me, is that i have no more Mob-Map-Points on the map...doesn't matter if Npc or quest mob....it doesn't show up...

This is strange...I do have similar problems with instance maps, but once I switch the map manually the display starts to work correctly again, including the display of the MobMap dots. And outside of instances everything seems to be fine. Do you have any other addons besides Cartographer that tamper in any way with the world map?

I too have problems with use MobMap =( Namely: when you try to deduce a position mobs or items. etc. on a map there is no label =( I use Cartographer. I shall be very grateful if you eliminate this mistake. Simply because of this mistake MobMap not probably to use =( And it very much is pleasant to me.

Are there any other addons installed that tamper with the world map (besides Cartographer, of course)?

Just want to say thank you! All the effort you have put into this is simply amazing. This is probably one of the best mods I have ever come across.

I have a FIX for the problem with MobMap and Cartographer.
If you go to options and select the "alternative location" it works like normal :)

Wow... Thank you so much! Mobmap hasn't been displaying points for NPCs/Pickups... anything really, since the last patch. I love this mod and it was very frustrating when it wasn't working. This worked 100%.
