Lucky. You should make the version 3.0 to be original and not copy off of anybody.

"copy off of anybody"? Off whom should I (not) copy what of? As far as I see, there ain't too many in-game mob database addons out there...

When BC came out the patch number was 2.0. Lich King will be 3.0

Ah, the version number. Well, that number doesn't really relate to WoW client versions, but to the development process of MobMap itself: significant changes usually get a new minor version number (with the whole number being a combination of [major].[minor][maintenance]) while bugfix-only releases just increase the maintenance version number. A new major version number is only justifiable when there are really big changes (as with the introduction of user-generated quest comments).
However, I have just started the process of converting MobMap for WoW 3.0, so it might still be possible that there will be such a really big change on the way, that's why the next version number ain't really determined right now. -

Implement quest giver overview and you have a reason to increase major version number ;D

Hey Slarti, keep up the good work mate! This simply is THE addon for wow! Last 3-4 days I'm also playing the beta and god how I miss mobmap! I even registered with wowhead - they seem to put a wotlk section with their client supporting the beta for data uploads.
When you release the wotlk beta version I will gladly upload everything I collect.

I was wondering, if you need any help w/ making a database for the BETA that people can upload their stuff to, i might be able to help, i have a bunch of private web servers available. Drop me a mail at xsgear(at@)comcast(dot.)net
Also, i have a beta key, leme know if u need help testing stuff. I'll purposly save 1 toon from lvl 70 and level it WITH the mod so it collects quest data from 70 to 80.
