Two new MobMapUpdater releases

A few hours ago, I released MobMapUpdater v1.80, which included a few bugfixes, mainly concerning stability issues during uploads on certain systems and that bug which prevented uploads from happening via HTTP proxy servers.

Unfortunately that new version introduced a new minor bug, popping up a balloon tip in the systray in automatic mode whenever WoW was being closed without MobMap having collected any new data while playing. This has been fixed in v1.81, which I have just put online for auto-update.

And a side-note concerning WotLK: I do now have a fairly functioning WotLK-ready version of the MobMap addon. It ain't perfect yet, there are still some things I need to add or fix, but it's perfectly in time and a final version will be available whenever WotLK hits the live servers (with probably a beta version some time earlier).

    Hi!
Using Vista, I get an error message when starting the new MobMap Updater.
You can see it in this screenshot:

Could you please send the file "debugout.txt" in your MobMapUpdater installation directory to slartie@gmx.net? It might help to determine what exactly goes wrong in your case.

I know this is not where to put this but could not find a contact place anywhere else i love the addon never have problems but what i wanted to say was you should check to see if you can integrate something like quest helper into it or pick up the development of QH as they have stopped doing anything with it. I just think the QH addon is a good idea in need of work

The Updater (1.81) crashes on Vista, when saving the first Database file, if the AddOn is at that time, not installed.

What I'd really love to see in MobMap is an option to combine searches (like with a logical OR), so that it shows its white dots on the map for more than one type/name of enemies.
As an example, combining "Trained Razorbeak", "Razorbeak Gryphon" and "Razorbeak Skylord" would result in showing the area in the Hinterlands where [Long Elegant Feather] can be found, without having to switch between these 3 enemy types when moving through their areas.

A really phantastic addition, would if we could use MobMap to sort our QuestLog by distance to next QuestItem/QuestGiver and if it would show a route to the Target (with Lines on MiniMap and WorldMap.

I know, Carbonite already does it, but Carbonite is not for free...

A donation would be sure, if these two features would be implemented ;-)
