MobMap v3.04

A new version just got rolled out. Besides numerous minor fixes this new release adds something that might prove very useful if you want to do all the quests you can get in a zone: automatic quest progress tracking! This means: MobMap will now track whenever you've completed a quest, and display that information in its quest database. A new quest database filter for this has been added, too, so you can quickly filter out quests which you've already finished.

Unfortunately, addons don't have access to the server-side information about which quests you've finished in the past, so MobMap will only be able to track all future quests. But it is possible to manually mark quests as "finished" or "unfinished". And it is of course possible to disable the automatic quest progress tracking, if you wish so.

The new version is already up for download via the MobMapUpdater, but the installer package and the manual download packages will be updated soon, too.

    Hehe, thank so much for this great addon and this feature you just implemented is right what i did want to ask for ^^
    I wish MobMap had routing feature as QuestHelper, so that i could use only MobMap and get rid of this buggy QH, which eats 1000 times more ram... Any chance you can cooperate with QH author or implement its routing feature to MobMap?

    Mal ein großes Lob an die MobMap Macher, super AddOn weiter so!! :)

    Einen Vorschlag für ein Feature hätte ich jedoch noch: Eine Suchfunktion in der man Gegenstände eingibt & MobMap listet auf für was es gebraucht wird, zB für welche Rezepte, Quests, ... dies wäre EXTREM hilfreich um endlich zu wissen ob man ein Item "gefahrlos" verkaufen kann.

    Xor voted for an item database, in that you can search for an item from your bag to see, for what it is needed. So you can easily decide if you want to vendor or keep the item for an upcoming recipe.

    Muss ja auch mal gestehen, dass des gute "Mobbi" (wie es bei uns heisst) seit meinem ersten WoW Tag zum festen Bestandteil gehört.
    Alles sehr geil kann nicht meckern. Allerdings würd mich interessieren ob es denn irgend möglich is, dass die Daten von den Private-Servern irgendwie gefiltert werden können, denn das Rezept Fornel: Waffe-Mungo wird als Verkaufsitem beim Gastwirt in der Sturmsäule angezeigt und des dropt DEFINITIV nur in der Ini.Ausserdem lassen sich nicht alle Verzauberungen bzw zb. Lederrezepte in den chat linken so wie es aus dem eigentlichen (eigenen) Berufefenster möglich ist.Wäre sehr geil wenn des noch zu fixen gehn würd
    Ansonsten BIG THX und weidder so Lädyzz. Best AddOn ever. Questhelper is n SCHEISS dagegen. Oops habsch des laut gesagt hihi.

    What about the English Comments I wrote for many Quests in Northend. Where are they in the Databease?

    Just wanted to thank you for your work on this add on. I really enjoy it. One problem I have experienced lately is that since 3.03 and still in 3.04, the data concerning the drops from instances seems to be missing. Most of them dont drop down and the few that do contain the same 4 catagories.

    Nice addon m8, i use it from the 1st release version, sometimes i change for QH because e see many ppl using it and i want understand why, well i always come back to MB because its more simple to use and dont decresase my Fps. Why dont you upload it to curse.com? or other addon websites?

    Thanks for this addon and implementing such features :)

    It seems that the "show all" feature is bugged when using "show only non-completed" quests; there are many uncompleted quests listed but only the last shown mob is shown on the map when using show all, not all the quest givers.

    And it would be nice if "show all" feature would be implemented on more tabs; for example on vendor tab so that you can see what the nearest vendor is.

    Seems that the "show all" feature with uncompleted quests isn't bugged generally, but often you have to click twice.

    And seems not all quests are tracked. I've completed whole Dukuru quest line (with Mobmap enabled; and got archievement) but the dots for it are still shown (I've refreshed already).

    Guess, it may be possible to check for already done quests if players comes near about quest giver - i.e. that if there is no quest mark - then quests are done. Quest marks should be accessible - or how map addons can show them and names of quest givers?

    How do I report an error?

    when i installed the MobMap v3.04, some features are not working and missing.

    does my client have the version problem regarding the new MobMap?

    Als erstes mal ein großes Lob MobMap wird immer besser! Ich hätte aber noch 2 Verbesserungsvorschläge: Man sollte die Farbe des Punktes(auf der Map) ändern können. Man sollte mehrere Quests auf der Karte anzeigen lassen können(in unterschiedlichen farben)
    sonst ist alles super!
